Water Main Break Prompts Boil Water Advisory in Muskegon Heights

The city of Muskegon Heights has issued a boil water advisory for the next 24 to 48 hours following a water main break that happened overnight.

Several city workers continue to work on the issue, which occurred at Norton Avenue and Hoyt Street around 1:00 a.m.

Muskegon County Dispatch tells FOX17 the boil water advisory is for Muskegon Heights only, and doesn’t impact neighboring Norton Shores or Fruitport.
