Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint

Two men are being sought by Grand Rapids police Monday morning after they robbed a delivery driver at the rear of Ralph’s Food Market.

The pair held a gun on the driver shortly after 5:30 a.m. behind the market, which is at 655 Leonard Street NW.

One suspect was described as a black man around 25 years old, about 5’8″ or 5’9″ and 140-150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie tied tight around the face and wearing dark pants. The second suspect was described as a black man with a slight moustache around 25-30 years old, 140-150 pounds, wearing a grey hoodie, also tied tight around the face.

The pair was last seen going northbound on Muskegon Avenue NW.

    This is what is happening to the West Side. Perhaps Fox should do an expose on how many Detroiters have settled here since the housing bust….and how many have criminal records. There are schools and churches on the West Side, and it seems that nothing is being done to enhance our safety. This is deplorable.

    This is turning into a horrible world to live in. We can't even go earn a living anymore. I work hard to put food on the table and a roof over my familes head. Now some thugs think they have a right to my hard earned possessions. Get a job like the rest of us do… stop robbing people.
