GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Two armed robberies took place on Wednesday, near the main campus of GRCC around 7:20 p.m.
The first robbery took place on the corner of Lafayette Ave. and Crescent when a male victim was walking on the side-walk. Two suspects came up to the victim and asked him what time it was. They then threatened the victim with a gun demanded he hand over his wallet and other possessions.
A similar robbery happened, with the same suspects, on the corner of Barclay and Crescent St. The suspects approached the second victim and again asked for the time and demanded money.
