GOWEN, Mich — The Lincoln Pines Resort is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those who are responsible for several break-ins.

The Kent County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after the first call came in around 11:16 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities suspect several campers were burglarized around 2:00 a.m.

Police say up to 20 units were broken into.

Nothing was taken, but police say several campers were trashed in the process.

Some residents stay at Lincoln Pines off 19 Mile Road all year-long, while others are seasonal, police added.

No one was inside any of the units at the time of the break-ins.
