GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– If there are Falls Creek Kids infant or toddler denim jeans in your child’s closet ; they could be under recall.

The denim jeans are for both boys and girls sold in sizes 12M to 5T at Meijer. Falls Creek Kids is printed on a tag on the inside back of the waistband. The jeans being recalled are with and without a pink star or heart graphic stitched on the outside front and back of the jeans; they were also sold with cargo style pockets.

Parents should check for a label near the inside front left pocket including the date of production: April 2012 and production location of Zhangjiagang, China. The kids infant jeans with the label including a production code of April, 2012 and the sizes 0-3mos, 3-6 mos, or 6-9mos. on a label near the inside back waistband are not included in the recall. For a full list of jeans included in the recall, head to the Meijer’s recall website.

The jeans are being recalled because the snap on the front could come off becoming a choking hazard to young kids. If you have a pair of the recalled jeans, you should return them to any Meijer or HEB store for a full refund. If you bought the jeans online, you can call Meijer at (800) 927-8699 to receive a pre-paid envelope to send the jeans back.
