DETROIT, Mich. – The mother of a Detroit girl who was found stabbed to death early Sunday morning is being charged in her murder.
Officials found Tameria Greene, 8, on the floor of her family’s east side apartment. She had been stabbed in the chest and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The girl’s mother, Semeria Greene, 26, will be arraigned on Thursday.
Sources tell FOX 17 News that the mother was charged on Wednesday with felony murder and first-degree child abuse.
Her daughter would’ve had her ninth birthday on Wednesday.
If convicted on the murder charge, Greene could face a maximum penalty of life in prison without parole.
A vigil was held Tuesday night for Tameria.

She deserves to be stabbed to death after living and suffering in prison for years! people like this doesn’t deserve to live. No child deserves that kind of pain! Makes me wonder what kind of life she had to suffer through.. everything happens for a reason and I honestly do hate saying this, but what kind of sad life did that child have to live through? This was god taking her out of her pain. :\ RIP

As sad as it sounds, I agree with you. Who knows what torment this poor child endured during her very short life and what may have been instore for her. I truly hope this Satan in mother's skin gets every bit of misery she has coming to her.

How about publishing the name of the JUDGE that ordered that CYS leave the child at home with the Monster Mother. That Judge should be disbarred. Pathetic.

What would make a mother do such a thing?I'm a mother of four and I would never imagine hurting them in any way.My heart goes out to the little angel Tameria may you rest in peace.
