KENTWOOD, Mich. – A meeting is being held to discuss the playground arson that took place in Kentwood.
The parks and recreation department will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday to discuss how they will repair the destruction of Pinewood Park.
There was about $50,000 worth of damage.
Kentwood Mayor Richard Clanton said the equipment is covered by the insurance.
Police are investigating how the fire started and who might be responsible.
The city hopes to finish rebuilding the park by fall 2013
