HASTINGS, Mich. — Several places on the campus of Hastings High School were spray painted with a purple-and-gold “TK” last week, and investigators have been in touch with Thornapple Kellogg schools to see if there is a connection.
Hastings police were called to Hastings High School on a vandalism complaint on January 11. They were shown the spray paint in areas around the practice football field and the tennis courts.
The investigation is continuing.

Isn’t purple and gold Caledonia colors? Besides, why would they put TK knowing it will lead right to MIddleville?

Not a gang, im from tk people aren't that dumb. And our colors are black and orange…..sorry but im almost positive it wasn't anybody from my school

I'm really sick of my school getting vandalized. Honestly, we have nothing good going at our school already. Everything we have is outdated and TK has new everything. What we do have, we would like to keep nice, and I don't understand why people from other schools don't see that. We don't go to their school and vandalize their school, why should they vandalize ours? It's a high school "rivalry", it gets old. We already have the crappier school, why make it worse?

I'm from TK and if someone from my school did it, not saying anyone did because no one knew about it until the news brought it up, then I'd like to apologize to everyone at Hastings school for the immature jerks that we may have.
