GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Emmanuel Broyles is reported to have gotten through surgery and doing well after being shot in broad daylight on the city’s Southeast side.
Broyles, 22, was found on Eastern Avenue near Franklin Street SE around 1:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
FOX 17 spoke with the girl who found Broyles, and she said his surgery at St. Marys Medical Center went well, and he is recovering.
