
CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. – A criminal investigation has led to the arrest of a corrections officer from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
According to documents from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, the officer, who has not been identified, was placed on paid leave when it was discovered that a crime may have been committed while the officer was off duty.
During an investigation by Michigan State Police, it was revealed that criminal activity occurred with this officer on more than one occasion.
The corrections officer was arrested on charges of criminal sexual conduct and solicitation.
The officer is being lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.

WOW SEEMS THAT THE STATE AND COUNTY POLICE OR CORRECTIONS OFFICERS GET ALOT OF SPECIAL TREATMENT WHEN IT COMES TO CRIMES..WELL SOME DO..GUESS ITS WHO YA KNOW. I HAVE FIRST HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS…BUT CHECK IT OUT..HES GETTING PAID TO SIT IN JAIL..WOW HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN SAY THEY GET PAID TO SIT IN THE CLINK..WOW SICKENED I THINK PRETTY MUCH COVERS IT.

so its probably wrong to have someone collect your unemployment checks while you sit in jail too?

If you read the article, it says he was put on paid leave WHILE THEY WERE DOING THE INVESTIGATION. What special treatment is he getting? He's been arrested and is in jail. Please tell me you don't actually believe that he's still receiving pay since his arrest.
