One Person Dies In Multiple Vehicle Crash

MUSKEGON, Mich – The Muskegon Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened Tuesday morning on northbound US-31 just north of Sherman Blvd.

Dozens of vehicles were involved.  Bob Cutler, 58, of Muskegon, was killed and several others were seriously injured and taken to area hospitals.

Cutler’s family said he was a larger than life personality. They said he was a husband, father, grandfather and community leader. They also said he was a car enthusiast who loved to ski, boat and spend time iwht his wife, children and grandchildren.

The highway was closed while the vehicles were cleared and an investigation was conducted and is now open.

The accident is still under investigation.  Anyone with information involving the accident is asked to call the Muskegon Police Department at 231-724-6750.

    People need to slow down. I was on 31 this morning and many people despite the weather were still driving 60 plus on the snow and ice even where roads weren’t even plowed.

    Dont break check ppl bad things will happen i dont want to crash my car because you got scared and slamed some brakes. if youre not the driving in the snow type dont ride peoples asses stay in the slow lane dont be switching lanes when you dont need to and u will be fine
