Michigan – A high school student who has been battling cancer had her dream come true when she met Taylor Swift.

Kayla Kincannon has been fighting cancer for a couple of years now.

Knowing the girls love for Taylor Swift, Kincannon’s classmates took to social media, launching the campaign, Operation Get Kayla To Meet Taylor Swift.

The campaign worked.

While in Tennessee for cancer treatments, Taylor Swift’s tour bus pulled up the hotel Kincannon was staying at.

“She was so humble and so real and so down to earth and she wasn’t fancy and dressed up,” Kincannon said.  “She was like in jeans.”

Kincannon said she wants to thank everyone who put in a good word for her with Taylor Swift.
