MUSKEGON, Mich. - Slick roads and white out conditions can be blamed for a semi losing control and crashing into the guard wires along US 31 south near the Airline Road exit just before rush hour Friday afternoon.
As tow trucks worked to free the semi, traffic came to a crawl in both directions. Southbound traffic was moving slowly due to the fact that only the right lane of traffic was moving.
Those in the northbound lanes slowed down so drivers could catch a glimpse of the action.
Other slide-offs were seen in the area, but once the semi was clear the road moved at a steady pace.
