HOLLAND, Mich. – Captain Dykstra with the Holland Police Department met with a military mom this week who asked the department for help with collecting supplies to send to troops in Afghanistan.
The Holland Police Deptartment is collecting items for the 3rd Battalion 187th Infantry Iron Rakkasans, who are currently deployed in Afghanistan.
Here is a partial list of needed items:
- 2 in 1 body wash / shampoo
- Solid stick deodorant
- Tooth paste
- Toothbrushes
- Disposable razors packaged
- Non aerosal shave cream
- Pop Tarts
If you can help items need to be dropped off by February 7 to the Police Dept located on 8th Street in Holland.
