COLDWATER, Mich. – A Coldwater house fire resulted in a complete loss of the home Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. at a house located at 825 Doves Landing.

When fire crews arrived on the scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

By the time officials gained control of the house fire, the only thing remaining was the foundation.

Two nearby homes were also damaged from the fire. The home to the north had siding and attic damage. The home to the south also had siding damage.

The homeowner was treated at the scene for minor burns to the hands, arms and upper body.

No firefighters were injured.

The Coldwater Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of fire.
