
CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. – The Calhoun County corrections officer who had complaints of sexual misconduct filed against him on Jan. 19 has been fired.
Troy Pope, 26, was let go from his position following a meeting at the sheriff’s administration office Friday morning.
Pope has been charged with having sex with a 15-year-old male who is now currently 17 years old. He has also been charged with soliciting sex from an 18-year-old man.
No further information regarding Pope’s termination has been released.
