
HOLLAND, Mich – Parade applications are due Friday, Feb. 1 for the 84th Annual Tulip Time Festival.
The Perrigo Volksparade will kick off the year on May 8. The parade is led by the Governor of Michigan, with thousands of locals dressed in Dutch costumes.
The Johnson Controls Kinderparade will be held May 9. It’s the only “green” parade in the state, using hybrid or electric vehicles to tow all the floats. It’s also the largest parade of children in the state of Michigan.
The last parade is the GMB Muziekparade on May 11. It’s the longest parade route in Michigan, stretching 2.4 miles.
Notification of parade approval will be made by Feb. 28.
The Tulip Time Festival runs May 4 to May 11 in Holland.
