BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The city of Battle Creek has issued a Boil Water Advisory for two areas after repairing a “significant water main leak.”
The city announced Sunday morning that its Water Division had repaired a significant water main leak east of the intersections of M-37 and M-89 in the Urbandale area. It then issued a Boil Water Advisory for the following two areas:
* On Michigan Avenue West from Bedford Road South to Dunning Avenue.
* On Hinman Avenue South from Michigan Avenue West to and including Bond Avenue.
The city is advising residents to boil water before using it for consumption. An announcement will be made when the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
