GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Mike Vorce, who’s serving 10 years in federal prison for stealing more than $27 million, will be featured on Thursday’s episode of “American Greed.”
Vorce defrauded banks by convincing them to give him loans for boats that didn’t exist or that he already received financing on.
He then spent the money on expensive cars, race boats, and luxury homes in both Walker and South Beach, Miami.
Vorce recently filed a lawsuit against Lake Michigan Credit Union, one of the banks he defrauded, claiming it was their fault for believing him.
“American Greed” airs Thursday, February 21, at 10:00 p.m. on CNBC.

Mike Vorce comes from a very fine family. He is paying his time for mistakes..I have never watched American Greed and don't intend to waste my time with this show either.

If he comes from a fine family why did he steal 27 million dollars?

I'm sure there are thousands of criminals that are from very fine families. That doesn't make the story any less interesting and I would certainly not hold anything against the family for what this guy did.

Yup greed got him caught. He should of stopped at 20million dollars and he could be enjoying all of the money.

How is it that all the men on American Greed, destroy peoples lives, dreams, and get away with very short
jail terms?

The fact that this scum comes from a "fine" family is probably the reason why the ROBBED! He is used to having the very best and probably was spoiled to death as well. I watch American Greed regularly and most of these conman usually get very little jail sentences exactly because they are smart guys that have the knowledge that if you hire//pay for a good attorney you will get away with it!!! Money solves everything!!!
