KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A fire destroyed a mobile home at the American Estates.

It happened on Lilac Lane before 9 p.m.

Police say a family lives at the home, however no one was home at the time of the fire.

Authorities don’t know the cause of the fire, but they say they’re not treating it as suspicious. An investigation is on going.

Police told FOX 17 that the family stayed with relatives Wednesday night.
