BATTLE CREEK, Mich — S.A.F.E. Place Shelter of Battle Creek received a donation from the Battle Creek Area Credit Unions for the 13th year.

The following credit unions contributed:

“Through the cooperative efforts of the Battle Creek Area Credit Unions we are able to make a difference in the communities we serve” said Tracy Mille,r chairman of the Battle Creek chapter of credit unions.  “This donation also supports the founding principles of credit unions, and that is People Helping People.”

S.A.F.E. Place helps women and their children who have left an assailant, in order to give them protection and an increased chance of survival.
