QUINCY, Mich. – New video of an overnight fire has surfaced, courtesy of WTVB/WNWN’S Jim Whelan.  The video is available below in its entirety.

A portion of US-12 that was closed due to a fire at Longstreet Furniture in Branch County has opened back up Tuesday morning.

The fire started at 12:25 a.m.  Eight departments were on the scene to help out, including one from Indiana.  According to the Quincy Fire Chief, 60 firefighters were involved in putting the blaze out.

The store is located at 720 East Chicago Road (US-12) and motorists had been advised to avoid the area if possible, or face detours for their morning commute.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

We are waiting to hear from officials on the extent of damage.
