KENTWOOD, Mich. – A man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car on Thursday night.

It happened at approximately 8:24 p.m. on Countrywood Drive near Breton Road in Kentwood.  Police say a 38-year-old man was wearing dark clothing while walking in a dark section of Countrywood.  That’s when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man was taken to the hospital where his exact condition is not clear.  The driver of the vehicle was not injured and was released from the scene.

This case remains under investigation.
