GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 20-year-old man suffered life threatening injuries after falling 20 feet from a window on the third floor of an apartment complex.
Grand Rapids police responded to Lake Village Cooperative at the 1300 block of Parkway NE around 1a.m. early Saturday morning.
They say the 20-year-old was at a party at the apartment when he sat on a window sill of an open dining room window. Police say that is when the man leaned back, fell through the screen and landed on the cement 20 feet below.
He was taken to Spectrum Butterworth to be treated for life threatening head injuries and is currently listed in critical condition.
The victim has been identified but police are not releasing his name.
The incident is still under investigation but alcohol is believed to be a facor.

OMG, what a flashback. I hate stories about people falling, no matter what the reason. Poor judgment nearly cost this guy his life. I sure hope for his and the family's sake he can make a full recovery. Good luck.

The office people Never did nothing to these ppl up stairs..We told on them for the last month but management never did nothing we said they smoke weed and drink every night and they just brushed it under the rug!!! Still praying for the victim…but they were told every day that they were drinking and being LOUD but nothing was done…..
