VALLEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An Allegan County man found dead in his home on Saturday night suffered from injuries that “appeared to be consistent with gunshot wounds,” according to a new release from the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department.
Jody Ray Snyder, 37, was found around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in his home on the 3900 block of 122nd Avenue in Valley Township. Snyder’s death was reported to police by Snyder’s brother, according to Captain Frank Baker.
Snyder also has an 18-year-old son, Seth.
Snyder’s landlord tells FOX 17 that Snyder had lived in the home for about three years. Curt Conley had just been over at the home on Friday helping Snyder with some manual labor.
An autopsy on Snyder’s body is being performed in Lansing on Monday.
FOX 17 has a crew continuing to work this story and will bring updates throughout the investigation.

Are you sure the land lords name is curt conley. It shows under tax records that the property is owned by marion jeff conley and malvia conley. Is curt an alias? What about his criminal record?
