GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man with ties to Grand Rapids will soon be reunited with his long lost dog thanks to Facebook.
In November, a bad crash in Plymouth, Ind., separated Dave Vitali from his dog. Dave was on his way to Grand Rapids to visit his daughter when the crash occurred. His dog, Max, was by his side.
When the dog heard the ambulance sirens he took off and couldn’t be found. It was feared he was gone for good.
A Facebook message from a woman in Plymouth soon changed all that.
The happy ending will occur in just a few days, when Dave and Max are reunited.
