GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police tell FOX17 that around 2:25pm on Thursday in the area of Cherry and Ionia, a group of 6 to 7 people were involved in a fight.
The fight took place in the Grand Rapids Transit Center. Police say that after the fight somebody retaliated and a male was shot in the leg.
The victim was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with injuries that were reported to be non-life-threatening.
Three people were taken into custody.
The victim told police that he didn’t know who shot him.
