GRAND RAPIDS, Mich-  One person is in critical condition after a shooting at a birthday party Friday night.

Prior to the shooting, uninvited guests arrived at the party and started an argument, according to Grand Rapids Police. One of the guests then took out a handgun. The other guests tried to hold the shooter down when shots were fired.

When police arrived, the victim had serious gunshot wounds and was transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.

The other victim had gunshot wounds on both his leg and arm and was also transported to the same hospital.
