INDIANAPOLIS — The entire campus is currently on “Lock-Down” at the Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI) after a man with possible gun was spotted in a parking lot on the university’s campus. The university’s emergency management Twitter account posts, “Man with long gun seen in lot at Barnhill and Vermont. Seek shelter.” The tweet was sent to students and staff.
Officials at the university are asking students on campus to seek shelter and for everyone else to avoid the campus. Officers entered and searched IUPUI’s School of Nursing, but it is still unclear if the alleged suspect is in any of the campus buildings.
Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School is also currently on lock-down status due to the incident.
