CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. – A portion of I-69 in Calhoun County was reopened Thursday morning after a van crash injured a group of Amish from Indiana.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened at around 9am at mile marker 44 – N Drive.
Ten people were hurt when the van rolled. Three of the victims were ejected from the vehicle, said the sheriff’s department. The victims, from Middlebury, Ind., were taken to four different hospitals. All of the injured are expected to survive.
There were icy conditions on the highway at the time of the accident, said investigators.
