GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Subway restaurants in Grand Rapids want to give you a chance to pay it forward today.
The restaurants are participating in a day long and state-wide food drive. The drive is called Feed a Friend and it benefits local food pantries.
Customers who bring in a can of food or other non-perishable foods and buy a six-inch sandwich will get another six-inch sub of equal or lesser value for free.
Feed a Friend started in Jackson, MI and is now in its 13th year.
