Home Invasion In Isabella County Leads To Arrest

Kyle ChaffeeLINCOLN TOWNSHIP, Mich- Early Friday morning a home owner was awakened to find a man their home. Once as the suspect heard the home owner moving around, the suspect fled the home running into the woods.

After a description of the suspect was given to the Isabella County Sheriffs’ Department,  Kyle James Chaffee was arrested about a half mile from the home with stolen property.

Sheriff’s determined after a search of Mr. Chaffee’s place where he was staying that he had stolen more property from the victims home about two weeks earlier, which included a rifle.

Chaffee has been charged with Home Invasion and mulitple firearms charges. He is being held on $60,000 bond at the Isabella County Jail.
