MarijuanaGRAND RAPIDS ,Mich. — Judge Paul Sullivan Ruled Monday that the Grand Rapids marijuana amendment will stand. Under the ordinance, a person caught with marijuana in their possession will be given a civil infraction ticket instead of jail time.

The ordinance’s implementation had been delayed by a lawsuit involving Kent County. Judge Sullivan dismissed Kent County Prosecutor William Forsyth’s Effort to void the amendment.
