wienermobileWYOMING, Mich-  The Oscar Mayer Wienermoblie is in West Michigan. The vehicle is on a journey across the United States celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The first version was created in 1936 by Oscar Mayer’s nephew, Carl G. Mayer, and variants are still used by the Oscar Mayer company today. Drivers of the Wienermobiles are known as Hotdoggers and often hand out toy whistles shaped as replicas of the Wienermobile, known as Wienerwhistles.

Today the Wienermobile is at the Family Fare at 2275 Health Dr. SW in Wyoming until 5pm, when they have to continue their journey.

I have tried several times to get used to the new format of your website and I cannot. It is LAME to say the least. There are only a dozen stories (give or take) on your home page. I have been forced to go back to WOODTV for my local news. Sucks to be you.

The number of stories is lame compared to wood and they break it down by county but, they do not change stories frequently on any other county category but Kent and Grand Rapids.
