Man Shot In Broad Daylight In Battle Creek

Battle Creek Police File PhotoBATTLE CREEK, Mich- A man was shot early this afternoon in the 100 block of Greenwood Street in Battle Creek. According to Battle Creek Police a black male suspect pulled up in front of a residence, got out of a vehicle and shot multiple rounds at a 34-year-old victim striking that victim twice in the legs.  The suspect then got back into the vehicle and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties, approximately 6 feet tall with a long build and facial hair. The vehicle is described as a red or burgundy midsize car, possibly 6 to 8 years old.

The victim was transported to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital and is in stable condition.
If anyone has information is asked to call the Battle Creek Police Department or Silent Observer.
