Driver of Truck Where Muskegon Girl Was Shot Charged With Delivering Marijuana

Xavier Terell KindleMUSKEGON, Mich. — The driver of the truck where a 16-year-old Muskegon girl was shot in the head Thursday has been charged with felony marijuana delivery, according to Kent County Prosecutor D.J. Hilson.

Xavier Terell Kindle, 18, was arraigned Friday afternoon, and could face up to four years in prison for the charge of manufacturing and delivering less than five kilograms, or about 11 lbs, of marijuana.   A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 20, and a signature bond of $10,000 was set.

According to Hilson, the 16-year-old shooting victim, a Muskegon High School student, was a passenger in the truck Kindle was driving.  She was shot shortly after 1 p.m. in the 400 block of Isabella Avenue in Muskegon.  A suspect in the shooting has not yet been identified.
