ZEELAND, Mich. — Crews responded to what they describe as an industrial accident on Wednesday morning, in which an excavator ended up on top of a dump truck, trapping one person.
Police responded to the call at ODL, a company on East Roosevelt in Zeeland. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a person was trapped in the dump truck after an excavator landed on top of it.
A representative from ODL told FOX 17 that it was a dump truck that had simply tipped over, and all information would need to come from Schippers Excavating. As of 8:20 a.m., there was nobody available to answer phone calls.
Right now, it is unclear if there are any injuries.
