WEST MICHIGAN — After a few comfortable and pleasant summer days in West Michigan, the heat and humidity will make a return starting this weekend. Temperatures will gradually increase through the weekend into the mid to upper 80’s and reach into the 90’s by Monday. Grand Rapids has not hit 90 degrees so far this year, with the last 90 degree day occurring on August 26th of 2012. A strong ridge of high pressure will allow for multiple chances to beat 90 degrees next week as the ridge looks to hold all the way through the end of the week.
