Fund Set Up to Support Family of Father Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Brian VanSingelBYRON CENTER, Mich. — A fund is set up to support the family of 29-year-old Brian VanSingel, who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Allegan County Monday.

VanSingel and his wife, Sara, had just given birth to a daughter, Lyndon Marie, on June 7.  In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to a memorial fund set up through Huntington Bank by GNS America, VanSingel’s employer.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled Friday, Aug. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church in Byron Center, Mich.

VanSingel, 29, was passing another vehicle  on 142nd Avenue at 24th Street at 5:58 a.m. when he collided with a vehicle in the opposite lane.  He was transported to Spectrum Hospital and died from his injuries.
