Police: Video Of One-Year-Old Rape Victim Found On Suspects Hard Drive

KENT COUNTY, Mich. – New details are emerging in the case of a Kent County man and woman connected to the rape of a one-year-old girl.

Stevie Foehl, 27, and Michael Emory, 25, both of Comstock Park, are locked up in a South Carolina Jail.

The Kent County Sheriff’s Department told FOX 17 News Tuesday morning the case originated in Ottawa County.

Investigators said Emory responded to a help wanted ad on the Internet for babysitting services. Authorities are concerned there are other victims.

NEWS RELEASE FROM KENT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT:

The Ottawa County Sheriff Department investigated a Criminal Sexual Conduct involving a
suspect identified as Michael Emory. Michael responded to a Craigslist ad for a babysitter and
met the victim in Ottawa County. During the course of the investigation, Michael’s computer
was seized and later examined by the Internet Crimes against Children Computer Forensic Unit
(ICAC).
Located on the computer were child pornography and a video file of a female victim,
approximately 1 year old, being sexually assaulted by two people identified as Michael Emory
and his live-in girlfriend, Stevie Foehl. Upon discovery of the video, the information was turned
over to the Kent County Sheriff Department on August 13, 2013, because the incident was
believed to have occurred at Michael’s and Stevie’s residence in Alpine Township.
Detectives presented the information to the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office who authorized the
following charges:
Michael Emory, 25 Years Old
3 Counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct – 1st Degree
1 Count of Child Sexually Abusive Activity
1 Count of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime
Stevie Foehl, 27 Years Old
1 Count of Criminal Sexual Conduct – 1st Degree
1 Count of Child Sexually Abusive Activity
1 Count of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime
Bond on both was set at $750,000.
