BELDING, Mich.- A dive team has been called in early this morning to search along the Flat river.
Officials on the scene are not releasing additional details at this time but a 10-year-old boy is missing in the area. According to family members Devon Morrison went missing around 10:30am on Saturday morning. He told his parents that he was going fishing along the Flat river. According to a family member at the scene the boy’s shoes have been found in the river.
As daylight comes up, uniformed police officers are going to start going door to door to look for Devon. Only uniformed officers will be doing the knocking. Other volunteers are out walking the streets and nature trails in the area.
