2-Suspects Arrested In Connection With Wyoming Home-Invasion

generic police lightsWyoming, Mich. — According to a press release from the Wyoming Police Department. Around 4:17 a.m. on September 15, Wyoming Police responded to an address on McKee Avenue in reference to a home invasion in progress. Officers arrived on the scene and were advised by the residents that two armed gunman had just forcibly entered their home.  The male suspects reportedly stole several items and, although one shot was fired, no one was injured. The suspects fled the scene after realizing that one occupant had dialed “911”.

Officers were able to locate the suspects who were hiding near a commercial trash bin on Clyde Park Avenue. The suspects, a 17-year old Wyoming man and an 18-year old Grand Rapids man, were taken into police custody. Their weapons and some of the stolen property were recovered nearby.

Investigators have obtained information that a third suspect may have been involved. He is described as an Hispanic male in his 20’s, approximately 5’5” and driving a blue 2-door Pontiac (possibly a Grand Prix).
