GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — High pressure and dry air will continue to provide a very quiet stretch of weather for the first official week of autumn around West Michigan.

A small amount of patchy fog was focused on eastern portions of the FOX 17 viewing area Tuesday morning, with visibility down to half a mile or less in places like Ionia and Mt. Pleasant.

Sunny skies will continue to prevail throughout the next several days.  Temperatures will be remain slightly below average Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s.

A disturbance will draw some clouds and showers to our south into the Ohio River valley through midweek, but West Michigan should only experience a few thin clouds at times.

Warmer air will gradually return for the middle and end of the week, with high temperatures climbing through the 70s to around 80° by Friday.
