Holland Twp. Man Arrested For Business Break-Ins

kendall samuel copyHUDSONVILLE CITY ,Mich. — According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office 20-year-old Kendall Ray Samuels was arrested for his involvement in business burglaries in Hudsonville. On September 27 sheriff’s deputies were sent to Creekside Auto at 3244 Oak St in Hudsonville City to investigate a business break-in.

Deputies discovered a rear window had been entered with cash and a handgun taken from the auto company. Additionally investigators learned that another business  S and S Auto at 3245 VanBuren also in Hudsonville City had been burglarized. In this incident a 2006 Chevy pick-up truck was stolen from the business.

On September 28 deputies noted suspicious behavior behind the old K-Mart store on Chicago Dr. in Georgetown Twp. Deputies noted the stolen 2006 pick-up occupied by an individual who fled on foot in a westbound direction.

Through futher investigation that suspect was identified as Kendall Samuels. Samuels was located by deputies later in the day on September 29. He was taken into custody without incident at a friend’s residence in the Presidential Estates Mobile Home Park in Hudsonville City.

Samuels is in the Ottawa County Jail being held on felony charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Unlawful Driving Away of an Auto, and Burglary of a Business, No Bond at this time.

This incident remains under investigation.
