It happened in the 500 block of Egleston around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Public Safety Officers were called to the house for a meth lab and one man wanted on outstanding warrants tried to jump out of a window to avoid them. He was arrested.
After investigating, officers found 2 men inside the house who refused to come out. They both were wanted on outstanding warrants and police at the scene also thought they had multiple guns with them. The SWAT team was called in and one guy came out. The other man refused to come out and the SWAT team had to use gas to get him out.
When officers searched the house they found a big meth lab and a shotgun. Both men involved in the stand-off were also arrested on outstanding warrants. The Department of Public Safety is still investigating and say more charges could be possible.
