GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– Neighbors and business owners in one Grand Rapids neighborhood are sharing their input and ideas on how to revitalize their streets.

LINC Community Revitalization is leading a planning open house Thursday, November 7th, for those who live and work along Grandville Avenue.

The planning process started several weeks ago when LINC began collecting input from residents and business owners. More than 150 people wrote down their suggestions for what the neighborhood needs for a bright future.

They’ll take additional suggestions during the open house. It’s at Cook Library Center, on Grandville Avenue. You can go from noon to 2 p.m. or from 6 to 8 p.m. LINC will present a design plan November 21st at Cesar Chavez Elementary School.

If you can’t make it to the open house, there will be public boards stationed at businesses in the area.
