ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Two men arrested in connection with the murder of Paul DeWolf have been identified.

Joei Jordan, 20, and 21-year-old Shaquille Jones were arrested in two different counties in South Carolina last week.

Jordan was arrested in Sumter County and will be charged with the July murder of Paul DeWolf in Ann Arbor, according to an article in The Item.  He is currently being held in the Sumter County jail.

According to Charleston County jail officials, Jones was booked Nov. 6 and is awaiting extradition to Michigan to face charges.  It was unclear if he would also be charged with murder.

Ann Arbor Police announced Thursday, Nov. 7 that three suspects were arrested in connection with the murder of the 25-year-old University of Michigan med school student.  The third suspect has not yet been identified.

DeWolf, a Schoolcraft native, was found dead from a gunshot wound July 24 at the Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity, 220 N. Ingalls St. in Ann Arbor.  A friend found him in the basement of the house after he didn’t show up for an assignment at the veteran’s hospital.

Police believe there was no prior connection to DeWolf and any of the three suspects.
