Dive Team Rescue Person From Pond Near Rivertown Crossings Mall

rivertown iceGRANDVILLE, Mich. — Rescue teams were called to a pond near the RiverTown Crossings Mall in Grandville around 1pm on December 2 after reports were called in of a male struggling in the pond adjacent to the mall.

According to the Kent County Sheriffs Department the man was rescued and is expected to be ok after being in the water for just over 20-minutes. According to reports the male was trying to walk across the ice when he fell in.
