GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- There’s a way to Pay-it-Forward this holiday season and get some wonderful, unique gifts.

The Shoppe Soiree, benefiting the Personal Care Area of Mercy Health Lacks Cancer Center in Grand Rapids, will be held from 5:30p.m. -8:30p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4,  at Thousand Oaks Golf Club, 4100 Thousand Oaks Drive. The money raised will help women undergoing cancer treatment with their wig and prosthesis fittings, head shavings and other personal care needs that the hospital does at no cost for the patients.

You will have the opportunity to mingle over dessert and cocktails, while having the opportunity to purchase trendy gifts and jewelry.

Tickets are $40 and the proper attire for the evening is “A Spot of Pink”. You can register online here.

So what about the men in your life? They are invited to have fun in the Thousand Oaks Acorn Grille and will be treated to 20 percent off menu purchases; all of the savings will be donated back to the Mercy Health Cancer Lacks Cancer Center. There is no need for the men to make reservations, just show up in your casual clothing and hang out with other fellows. Besides, the women are going to need someone to carry their bags.
