Third Suspect In Newaygo County Grocery Store Robbery Still At Large

steven myersFREMONT, Mich. — Acting on a tip from a citizen, the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office conducted three search warrants on the evening of December 3 that resulted in the recovery of evidence related to the robbery including the firearm used in the incident.

Two of the three suspects responsible for the robbery were arrested and have confessed to their involvement.

The third suspect, Steven Gregory Myers, described as a 22-year old white male is at large and is wanted by police.  Steven is from White Cloud, but was believed to be staying at the York Creek Apartments in Kent County as of December 4.

Steven is 6’4” tall, weighs 170lbs, and has blue eyes.  It is unknown if Myers is armed.

According to police 3-men entered the Ashcroft Grocery store at  10450 S Warner Avenue, on December 2, The men flashed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded cash and cigarettes.  Both men were wearing bandanas.
